In this Shakespearean comedy, a wealthy man is struggling to marry off his daughters because his eldest, Kate, is a shrew! She is beautiful, but brash and more unpleasant than her younger sister, Bianca, who is pursued by several suitors. However, Kate must marry before Bianca can. Act out this funny story as Bianca's suitors set out to find a man who can marry Kate and tame the shrew! The six roles in this script are written at different reading levels, supporting differentiation and English language learner strategies. Teachers can easily implement these strategies by assigning specific roles to their students in a way that best accommodates readers of all levels.
