MeiYing has lived for the better part of a year secluded in a small cabin surrounded by nothing but forest, hidden away from the growing turmoil outside. And how can Mei keep an entire world safe from a power hungry vampire and his frenzied soldiers when she herself has no emotional attachment to the people living here or their plight?
