Space was a dangerous place, and the entire fleet could be destroyed by anomalies such as wormholes. What were these wormholes? Were they doorways between time pockets, universes or quadrants, and why did they destroy everything in their path? Humanity finally became stranded and was forced to settle on a previously discovered home-world. Life on this planet was relatively peaceful at first, but peace comes with its own set of problems. The new world was threatened by the mysterious particle TTTT, demons, and viral infections caused by food sources. The once agile space ship was transformed to support the most sophisticated particle blaster in all the universes. Black holes continued to spring up everywhere in the cosmos, as the multiverse fluctuated, imploding all in their path, including entire worlds.Humanity escaped total destruction after the alien war, which in turn followed the third world war. Humanity resettled on the Earth sometime later. Upon their escape, a decoy ship was dispatched ahead of the main fleet. Unfortunately their plan never quite succeeded.

Several projects were put into place, prior to the alien invasion, some for maintaining the stressed planet, and others to sustain life under water and in space. Many of these projects met with disaster.

The Earth itself became a wasteland and dangerous creatures evolved to further the threat of human extinction.
