Frontiersmen are drawn to the wilderness of the Rockies by the quest for freedom, but in exchange for this precious liberty they must endure a life of constant danger. Nate King and his family have faced every vicious predator in the mountains, both human and animal, and triumphed. But what of a predator that is neither human nor animal ... or a little of both?
