We live on a big world, but not the biggest planet in our solar system. We haven't always been the best stewards of this world, and we are destined to outgrow it. Depletion of natural resources is also a concern as our population grows. Colonization of other planets in the universe appears to be the best course of action, but there are many unknowns. Are humans the sole sentient race in the unimaginably huge universe, or will we find competition for livable planets and their natural resources? Are we doomed to a fate of extinction on this planet we call Earth, or can the brave and adventurous among us provide a new legacy ... a legacy of hope.
