"The Adventure of the Resident Patient" is one of 56 Sherlock Holmes short stories by Arthur Conan Doyle. Doctor Trevelyan has landed in a peculiar business arrangement, whereby a man named Blessington has provided him with a prestigious address to practice in return for 3/4 of his income. After a series of strange happenings, Blessington has become increasingly paranoid and agitated, causing the doctor to present the problem to Holmes.
