René Beauchemin has returned to his home and his work in Ottawa, Canada following his experiences on the Camino. Feeling better about his life, he now has to deal with the issue of rebuilding his career and the complications of two new women in his life. Frieda has decided that René's days of being a single divorcee are over. She engages the help of an old friend of René's, his mentor Jacques. In spite of appearances, all isn't what it seems to be with the involvement of archetypal characters and a Nordic goddess.
