The 11th century, A.D., is a bad time for fairies. With the humans' mastery over iron, few refuges remain to the fair folk. Fengrahf the Troll has been tasked with guarding the Hall of the Mountain King, the last bastion of the fey in Western Europe. But when Queen Mab is defeated at Battle of Hastings, it looks like all is lost, and Mab retreats from the world with what remains of her host. A thousand years later, past and future collide in this dystopian cyberpunk fairytale, and Fengrahf must find his way forward in a world that's forgotten the fey.
