John, a fifteen year old, with a talent for horses, mules and guns met Shorty who taught him a new way to use a gun.  While freighting, they ran into some of the worst of the Indian Nation's bad men.  Those outlaws found nothing but misery from the Mizzouri Kid as John and Shorty go on a desperate ride to rescue the beautiful Dorothy but will the firey red-head come between partners and destroy a friendship?  Or will she build JOhn's reputation with a gun?
