Zendo had learned from the star traders and they had given him money to expand his trading business.  He w3as anxious to earn some money so he could get married.  He hired his cousin Puri and they started on the trade route.  Events along the way unwittingly led zendo and Puri to help spread seeds of change.  Puri's love of story telling and singing ballads he made up helped spread those seeds of change even farther across the country.
