An Egyptian-born lady falls from the window of her flat in Chelsea. The circumstances of her death remind police and tabloids of the so-called Egyptian balcony murders. The balcony phantom, a byword for the unknown killer/s, had struck the same way before - with Egyptians thrown out of a balcony in London. None of these cases were ever solved, only rumours persisted that a secret service was involved. Under the circumstances the police are not very motivated to pursue their investigations. The case is solved, after her ex-husband and an old friend retrace her steps during her last visit to Cairo.
