Impressions is a cycle of 5 pieces of music, composed back in Belarus in 1970-s. It is obvious that the initial intention assumed technically-advance pieces for concert repertoire, on the basis of methods, developed by Italian and German masters of all times. In addition, there is an element of parody, sarcastically caricaturing the concert style. To bring these pieces back into life, musicians must employ a creative approach, keeping in mind that some of the partition fragments might be schematic, representing a hard readable draft. However, they worth additional efforts, because we have now 5 unusual and original compositions, reanimated and imported from another "planet" by an improvised time-machine, space and era transporter.
