A tragic accident entangles a small community into the life of the Pike family, as they all try to work through their grief.
When six-year-old Janie Rose Pike is killed in a tractor accident, the tragedy sends her family into a spiral of grief. Janie's mother blames herself. Her father is drawn out of his usual silence in an effort to comfort his wife. Ten-year-old brother Simon is confused at this upheaval in his life. As the Pike relatives and the community rally around the Pikes to provide support, they too must deal with their own private demons.
