Bria Dawson is perfectly fine with being single; that is, until her best friend's wedding rolls around and she finds herself without a date. With the pressure mounting to find the right one, she finds an unorthodox solution to her problem by hiring a male escort to accompany her to the wedding. Although she finds her hired date attractive and they both sense the chemistry sparking between them, Bria doesn't dare make a move despite the fact that her mystery man seems smitten with her.  However, with the wedding date soon approaching and a charade to be maintained, Bria decides that romance can wait, but she soon discovers that love comes when it does, no matter how inconvenient.
