This set of violin preludes was composed during author's studies at musical college in Novopolotsk and Brest (1971-1975) and his stays in Minsk (Mensk) and Grodno (Hrodna) [1972-1976], Belarus. These are very special pieces, distinct from everything that was composed for violin. They contain an inexhaustible potential both for performers and for studying.
