I wrote this book, "Alexander The Great And The Battle Of The Branicus River" when I was 6 years and 10 months old. This book's genre is Historical Fiction.
I wrote this book for the 2018 Jeffco Writing Challenge competition. The prompt was – "Choose a book and change the ending to make the story the way you would have written it".
I had read the book, "Alexander, The Great" by Pavlos Valassakis. It is one of my favorite books. So, I decided to take a chapter titled, "Alexander's Battle of the Granicus River", from the book, and changed the story and the ending. I also wanted to have a girl "Superwoman" and so I introduced a new character, 'Hydna' – a great swimmer. Kids who like humor would also like this book. I did the illustration too for this book.
I won the 1st place award for this book and words of praise from the accomplished author Ms. Claudia Mills.
