Women (and men) are working hard in many parts of the world to see that true gender equality is reached. There is nothing to be lost (save for some who feel entitled to more) and much to be gained for everyone. At this time I think we are adrift, not having established a strong sense of what comes next. There is both danger and opportunity in being temporarily directionless, and if the supporters of women's equality act quickly, a new fruitful course can be set for humanity. Of course many backward people would stand in the way and impose a vicious patriarchy on us, but they can be swept aside by education, will, and articulate challenge.
These six poems trace out with anger and hope what still needs fixing, and what we might do in the future. No adult-only content.
