This series has been written for trainee teachers wishing to improve their teaching skills as well as for in-service teachers, especially those engaged in the supervision of trainees. The book provides an overview of mathematics teaching at secondary level and links established mathematics content to recent curriculum developments in mathematics teaching in England and Wales and in Scotland. The main purpose of the book is to instigate and complement good mathematics teaching practice in our classrooms.
