Short story about how to avoid being hypnotised by the power of electronic images. One evening a young man walks to the river near where he stays, and there sitting by the river that night he understands for the first time the power of electronic images that are sent through the air to people all around the world. It's Just an illusion. And as he sits there at the river bank he writes down his thoughts into a notebook and develops a philosophy so that he can remain free from the strange power and control that comes from The Glass River.
