Octavius Winslow was one of the leading evangelical preachers in England during the 19th century. Winslow was a contemporary of other great Christian preachers including Charles Spurgeon and J.C. Ryle and he was also a well-respected author.
Personal Declension and Revival of Religion in the Soul, published in 1841, is one of Winslow's greatest books. Winslow wrote this book in order to help those Christians who have lost their way.
