Tim has a big sister and a little sister. They like to go camping and fishing. Tim is surprised by something in the water!

'Tim and his Sisters' has language that helps to teach the short 'i' sound as in the words; 'Tim, sister, Pip, Jill, fish, in.'

'Tim and his Sisters' is an engaging narrative story, an ideal first chapter book for emergent readers. Written for children who use the strategy of decoding, when they see an unknown word, and experiment using all 44 phonemes, the graphic novel features support comprehension, phrasing and fluency while engaging reluctant readers.

This book contains many decodable words (CVCs) but uses some more complex phonemes. As a semi-decodable book, it has been formatted to be Dyslexic-friendly and uses the Dyslexie typeface.
