Most of us will experiences choices, events, and "Life After..." experiences that may throw us off track. In one way or another, they will definitely impact us for the rest of our lives. "Shifts" happen. They teach us lessons, make us stronger, and give us a deeper sense of self. We may want to bury our heads in the sand and stop in our tracks as if these life situations aren't happening to us. We try to numb ourselves from the pain and reality of the situation. Eventually, we have to face life head-on and make a decision to move past "it".

This book represents a compilation of some of the trials and tribulations that have occurred in our lives. Somewhere in the pages, it is our hope that you will find the courage and inspiration to keep going. After experiencing unplanned and life-changing circumstances, we're still here: We are SURVIVORS!
