Haylee has recently come home from her all-girls, boarding school, and she's finally convinced her mother to allow her to start at her brother's high school... and her brother's best friend, Devon, just so happens to go there too; her crush since she was six years old and he was nine.

Tenth grade was supposed to start off without a hitch, but the night before her first day of her new school she goes to a Halloween party with her brother, Hayden, and his friends... and things get complicated... Haylee and Devon get the brunt of a jealousy scheme gone wrong.

This novella has some mature subject matter, and concludes Haylee and Devon's story, but there is a continuing story arc into book III. It should be read in series order.
