The Seven Pillars of Nonsense is a collection of 85 short stories and conversations, jam-packed with humour of all sorts. Touching on many topics throughout life, Roselaar shares an insight into the bizarre world that we live and work in.
Praise for his previously published e-books:
"I found this treasure of a book a godsend – made up of not so long readable stories that made me laugh and took me far away from the humdrum of everyday life. You only need to read the introduction to know that you are going to be catapulted away to a slightly eccentric world where the characters are going to have a rather strange view of life, but where there is always a story to be told and a moral, or indeed a fact, to be learnt. Highly recommended."
"There seems to be no stopping Michael Roselaar...Sweet Dreams and More Nonsense covers a wide range of styles and subject matter. It succeeds in tickling the reader's funny-bone again because we identify with this author's sense of the ridiculous when he portrays characters who display an inflated sense of their own worth. We can also laugh with him when his considerable linguistic gymnastics allow him to insert Cole Porter into an earthy conversation with Caesar the imaginary dog, or when he attempts to make sense of modern politics..."
Author Michael Roselaar lives in Hendon, London. He started writing at the age of eleven – influenced by a meeting with Harold Pinter. The result was a short composition: "I must not run in the playground." Pinter, a school prefect, suggested he write it one hundred times.
