I'm sure I'm not unique in this, but there is little as stimulating as "not talking about the private lives of others" - unless of course they are politicians... There is nothing more boring than wondering what other people are doing at present. Again, unless they are politicians of course. Not because society is overly curious, but because the lives of politicians are funded, by at least two "legal" steady streams. The first is campaign contributions by entities who may, or not need to remind them about it. Later. The other is that their salaries are derived from taxes that society pay, and after doing so, have no direct or immediate say about how this is divided up, or what taxes are applied to.
