This compilation presents studies that are concerned with the work of the British mathematician Alan Turing. Turing's 'Imitation Game' now referred to as the 'Turing Test' has become a popular subject for discussion and indeed offers a challenge to all aspiring researchers in this field. The authors all participated in the 2008 Symposium of the Artificial Intelligence and the Simulation of Behaviour (AISB) Society held at the University of Reading, UK, on the Turing test.
