Life is filled with daily choices and subsequent consequences. We live, we learn and we discover, hopefully not too late in life, that our choices bear consequences – there is just no escaping that.
God's word has much to say and teach about consequences. Given the opportunity, one can almost be certain that most, if not all the people mentioned in the bible would do things rather differently the second time around. Praise the Lord that we have God's written word and the many people that went before us. That we may have them as examples of how not to do certain things, of how to make better decisions. Yet, so many believers have God's word and still do not regard the truth and wisdom contained in its pages.
