The comedy is set in Athens and revolves around the Duke of Athens, Theseus, and his forthcoming marriage to Hippolyta. However, the play is not simply a love story. It is also a story about the clash between two different worlds: the world of the court and the world of the forest. In the Forest, we find Oberon and Titania, the King and Queen of the Fairies.
