Scattered Shades of Henna is a collection of 51 poems written over five decades. Poems originally written in Urdu, Hindi and Hindustani have been translated by Prof A K Nagar. For the convenience of readers, English translation and English transliteration exists side by side. The translation and the original are in unison with each other in terms of spirit and soul of the poetry. The collection consists of a broad spectrum of poetry rhymed verses, free verses, blank verse and prose poetry. The poet has selected nature, romance, irony, satire as subjects of his poems. The readers will enjoy the spontaneity and subtleties of the poems.
