A page Turner from the start as this is a fast paced action story. Sam Stephens is a larger than life get things done kind of cop. Graphic descriptions in places leave you in no doubt of what will happen if you're the bad guy. Touching love interest softens the hard places. I enjoyed The Weatherman, Book 1 in this series, too. Now I'm looking forward to the next book. No spoilers here but there has to be a next book.
