首饰不像衣服，并不是每个人都需要拥有的物品。但随着经济文化的发展，更多的人越来越注重修饰自己、装扮自己，希望通过首饰能够表露自己的个性，体现自己的成熟与典雅，显示与众不同的气质，或许捎带显露自己的财富。但不论怎样，首饰的品味并不是以其自身的价值能诠释的。简单说来，它是一种生活态度，一种自我追求，一种美的外在体现。当然，首饰作为艺术文化的一部分已然是社会的象征，特定的社会背景下也会产生特定的首饰主题和形式。在现代首饰设计课程的教学研究过程中，我们收集了大量的国内、国际的相关资料，如法国、意大利、西班牙等国家的首饰实物，使这门课程在弘扬和继承中国传统文化、吸收世界各国艺术精华的同时，更加关注如何提高学生的审美与技能。现代首饰设计在一定程度上超出了装饰美化的范畴，更需要传达出人们的价值取向和首饰的内在意韵。所以在首饰课程教学中主张观念与技艺的完美结合，注重首饰设计过程中人文观念的实验性探究的体验与学习，倡导创新意识培养的同时要求学生在首饰设计制作过程中更多地思考人本身的精神内涵。笔者虽然在首饰设计方面有一定的教学积累，但自知还有许多不成熟的地方，即便如此，也非常希望通过不懈努力，能够为中国首饰设计的发展尽一份绵薄之力。(Unlike clothing, jewellery is not necessary for everyone.However, with the economic and cultural development, an increasing number of people pay more attention to embellishing themselves with an expectation to highlight their personalities and manifest their maturity, elegance, distinction and wealth via jewelleries.Anyway, the taste of jewellery cannot be interpreted by its value.In brief, it is a life attitude, self-pursuit and external manifestation of beauty.Sure enough, as a part of art culture, jewellery has become the symbol of the society, meaning that special jewellery themes and forms are generated under specific social background.We have collected plenty of domestic and overseas data, such as the jewleries of France, Italy and Spain during the teaching process of jewlery design course. While promoting and inheriting the traditional Chinese culture and absorbing the art essence of the world, the course pays more attention to the methods to improve the aesthetics and skills of students.Modern jewellery design exceeds the scope of ornament and needs to convey the value of people and the implication of jewelleries.Therefore, the course proposes the perfect combination of ideas and skills, focuses on the experience and study of experimental exploration of humanistic concept during the design, advocates the development of innovation awareness and requires students to think about the spiritual connotation of human during the design.Despite the knowledge on jewellery design, the author is aware of the immaturity. Meanwhile, the author expects to make certain contributions to the jewellery design of China.)
