应用语言学主要关注三个层次的研究: 从学习者的角度来看, 主要研究学习者的学习特点、规律与个性差异; 从实践的角度来看, 主要探讨教学实施的方法; 从方法论的角度来看, 主要研究教学方法与手段。近年来, 应用语言学研究将教学研究与其他学科研究进行交叉、整合, 呈现出多层次、多方位的研究趋势。应用语言学研究的研究方法具有跨学科、多学科整合的特点。与此同时, 语料库方法、计算机技术等都已纳入应用语言学研究中, 研究方法呈现多样化的发展趋势。本书主要介绍应用语言学的主要理论在大学英语教学中的实践与应用。语言教学理论对大学英语教学实践具有多方面的指导作用, 但如何将语言教学研究成果运用到外语教学实践中去, 真正体现其实践意义和应用价值, 一直是广大外语课程教师和相关领域的研究者思考和探讨的问题。(The applied linguistics focuses on the researches on three levels: In terms of learners, it mainly studies the learning features and laws and personality difference of learners; in terms of practice, it mainly discusses about the methods of teaching practice; in terms of methodology, it mainly studies the teaching methods.In recent years, the study of applied linguistic shows a multi-level and all-round trends upon interdisciplinary and integrated researches.The research methods of the applied linguistics feature the interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary integration.Meanwhile, corpus approach and computer technology have been included in the study of applied linguistics, showing a diversified development of research methods.The book mainly introduces the practice and application of the major theories of applied linguistics in the college English teaching.The language teaching theories provide guidance to college English teaching in various aspects.
