21世纪初，我国印刷与包装类专业的高等职业教育进入发展时期，到2011年底，全国开设印刷与包装类专业的高职院校有117所，占独立设置高职院校的9.62%，招生人数约为16000人，在校生约为45000人，分别占独立设置高职院校招生人数和在校生人数的0.51%、0.47%。目前，全国有27个省（自治区、直辖市）至少有一所开设印刷与包装类专业的高职院校，海南、西藏、青海和宁夏除外。印刷与包装高端技能型人才的培养，为印刷与包装行业的发展做出了积极的贡献。(In the early 21st Century, China's printing and packaging major started its development. By the end of 2011, 117 higher vocational colleges opened the major, enrolled 16,000 students and hold 4,500 students at school, accounting for 9.62%, 0.51% and 0,47% of the total number of independent establishing polytechnic colleges, respectively.For now, each of 27 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities), excluding Hainan, Tibet, Qinghai and Ningxia, opened at least one higher vocational college with printing and packaging major.The cultivation of printing and packaging talents makes significant contributions to the development of the printing and packaging industry.)
