Sam is a smart, adventurous and curious little squirrel. But these characteristics sometimes cause a lot of trouble. His adventurous side causes him to go off into his own little world to explore, dream and learn about new and exciting things the world has to offer. His curious side causes him to get too close to danger, like running into the road so that he doesnt miss the big, metal automobile zoom by and wonder, how does that thing work?. Sam never sees danger coming even when his parents know of the dangers and try to protect him and his brothers, George and Eddie. His mom is constantly yelling, Sam, get out of the road, youre gonna get yourself killed!

Sam goes on many fun, dangerous and exciting adventures. His adventures help him to grow, learn and become a kind, honest and intelligent adult squirrel that never has a dull day.
