When there is 'no one' else around, but our dear ones and neighbours — who too, all have already drifted 'too' far down the deep current of nothingness, occupied with exchanging yesterday's disappointments, with hopes of better tomorrows — to hear us gasp. When our painful screams drown in irrelevance as it echoes back from an unlit house, and the next, and then another house after that, while it all becomes hazy as we limp past, and even the brightest lamp on a deserted street, chooses to look the other way...
