In 'Blue Troll's Broken Berry Rod' granny Besti meets Blue Troll for the first time.
He is picking blueberries. He goes to sleep under a bush and wakes up to find his berry rod broken and his magic berry picker gone, and Besti and Lula help him look for it. They meet Yellow Troll and Water Troll along the way. Then they have to rescue Red Dragon, who is stuck at the top of a tree, and solve the mystery of where Blue Troll's berry picker has got to.
This is the first book in the Troll Stories series. Seven brightly coloured trolls, a granny called Besti, two children, a fluffy dog, an unhappy red dragon, a rainbow coloured duck and two bad birds have made their way into the books so far. The stories are funny and easy to follow, with large print and colourful pictures. Suitable for children of about three to six years old.
