It's been 10 years since the gruesome murders and mysterious disappearances of a group of friends in the small town of Lanhallow. Jason and Karina, the only survivors of the group are now living in the next town from where they grew up. Married with a baby daughter, Karina works as a nurse at the local hospital. Jason works at the local college as a Professor teaching Psychopathology.
When Jason and Karina attend the Lanhallow Town Fair, a Psychic delivers Jason a chilling message. Shaken, he races from the tent unable to concentrate on what he was just told. Then almost in front of his eyes, his daughter Emily is taken from him only to be returned with a familiar description of the kidnapper that terrifies him and Karina.
Jason returns to work, overhearing a group of his students talking about the Lanhallow murders. He is shocked to hear the new version of events that are now being told.
Jason realises someone must know the truth? But why has this person kept this secret for 10 years?
When a chain of Déjà vécu events begin to take place, Jason panics. How does he protect his family and new friends from this psychopath intent on recreating the horror spree from 10 years earlier?
He calls upon the only person who might be able to help him keep his family safe, Lauren Ricketson, the Detective who was in charge last time.
