I have to tell my new lover something that may be painful for her to hear. Can she bear another disappointment in her life? After all, it's just been a one-night stand, and it might be better to part ways...but I tell her anyway. My litany of misdeeds and moral crimes are too much, and I can see her begin to break.

Mirrors of Memory looks at both sides of the most painful memories human beings can have, with gentleness and compassion, and leaves the reader feeling that life is precious and can be good, even after the worst of turns that it can take.
