A Book for Change
"A girl was being raped in front of his eyes as he stood there with a gun.
He wanted to save the girl, but his principles were stopping him from shooting."
A lover is separated from the girl he loves in the name of religion. Instead of fighting for his lover, he decided to fight against the reason that separated their love. He initiates a revolution against that hatred and animosity. However, his principles stand in the way. Under difficult circumstances, he is forced to go against his principles and the conflict becomes internal.
Gandhi with the Gun is the story of a fight between principles and circumstances. Is it possible to stick to your principles under worst circumstances? Will those principles allow love to have the upper hand over hate? Are Gandhian principles cowardly statements that aren't significant in today's world?
