As per vampire law, I've let mine consider me dead since my turning, but Constantine, my ex and newest member of the vampire council, is suspiciously quick to allow a visit. Perhaps because he knows more about my family than I do.
But as always in Cherry-land, one problem isn't enough. Alex's increasing jealousy of Constantine leads to violent outbursts completely unlike his usual mild manner, there are reports of attacks on women matching my description in the area, family secrets come to light, and feelings I shouldn't be having are messing with my mind.
