The 113page study presents data from a survey of 325 higher education faculty at major universities in the USA, Canada, the UK, Australia and Ireland about their evaluation of their university president. The report presents detailed data on how faculty view the overall effectiveness of their chief executive, at their level of satisfaction with him or her, and with the university president's performance in a broad range of areas. The survey has detailed and subject specific data on how faculty view the university president's performance in a broad range of areas, including but not limited to: fundraising, development of technology transfer and sponsored research, skills in attracting quality students, skill in attracting and retaining quality faculty, skill in helping faculty achieve success in research grants, capabilities in strategic planning and capital spending and many other areas. Data in the report is broken out by many personal and institutional criteria including: age, gender, tenure status, teaching load, subject specialty and academic title of the survey participant, and country of origin, public/private status, and world university ranking of the university affiliated with the survey participant, among other variables.Survey participants also list what they like most and least about their university president and list university presidents that they particularly admire.
