The island never saw people… human beings. Well, not until Tom Miller and James Clark drifted towards its mysterious gates. Back in New York, they couldn’t stand to be in the same room together, let alone on an island, stranded, and with no one else but each other. Both juniors in high school, they will need to do whatever is possible to survive. Learning not to hate each other will be one of them. But they’ll have to endure, just like they will have to face loneliness, desperation, and hardship. The future is in their hands, but the island is everything but reluctant to give it to them. If anything, it will just remind them of their past… that past that has haunted their lives ever since… 
At the same time, the world outside the island is going to be affected. Misery, depression, and blame cast upon the people’s shoulders. The ties that bind them together shall be their downfall. And with the loss of two of its people, they will turn against each other.
