Jackson grew up in the post catastrophe small town of Unity. Over thirty years since an EMP struck earth and caused worldwide chaos, America is progressing but far from healed and back to normal. The young man longs to venture out from home. Dallas, the large Texas city looms one hundred miles to the west. Only a shadow of it's past life as a bustling metro city, the town is growing and changing. He has made his decision to give the big city a try. Will he find work, friends and a new life there?
