Single and lonely, April Kelly embarks on a self-improvement quest, guided by the writings of a gifted psychic.  Somehow those exercises create a link to the psychic, and Iris Carlisle sets out to find this woman who has triggered her dormant visions.  Inexorably they are drawn together by a power they cannot name.
