旅游与酒店业是当今世界发展最迅猛的行业之一。目前全球旅游业的接待规模每年约7亿人次。据预测,到2020年将增至l5亿人次。行业的迅猛发展带来了大量的就业机会,在未来10年中,全球旅游与酒店业每2.5秒将创造一个新的工作机会。因此,培养应用型、复合型高级旅游酒店业人才也成为旅游酒店职业教育和职业培训的光荣使命。为此,我们组织专业一线教师和旅游酒店行业专家,对酒店前厅服务与管理工作过程进行分析、确定岗位能力素质要求,并以岗位能力素质要求为依据,编写《饭店前厅服务与管理》高职高专工学结合特色教材,以适应旅游酒店职业教育和职业培训发展的要求。(Tourism and hospitality are among the most rapidly growing industries in the world.Currently the global tourist industry receives about 0.7 billion people in a year.It is estimated that by 2020, the number will grow to be 1.5 billion.The rapid growth creates abundant jobs: in the coming decade global tourism and hospitality will create a job every 2.5 second.Hence training applicable, versatile and competent professionals becomes the honorable task of vocational education and training of the industry.Therefore we have invited practicing educators and experts of the industry to analyze the process of service and management of the hotel lobby, define the required skills of the job and edit the book, a special textbook combining theory and practice, to meed the requirements of vocational education and training of the industry.)
