高等职业教育专业课程基于工作过程导向的教材开发，已成为近年来职业教育教材建设的主要方向，教育部《关于全面提高高等职业教育教学质量的若干意见》中明确指出，高等职业院校要根据技术领域和职业岗位的任职要求，参照相关的职业资格标准，改革课程体系和教学内容，建立突出职业能力培养的课程标准，规范课程教学的基本要求，提高课程教学质量。
