A Georgia businessman believes God is like a genius clockmaker who created the world then set it on a shelf like a clock to let it wind down while being uninvolved and unconcerned about his life and the lives of others. That all changes when he has a dream in which he is assured his cancer-stricken wife soon will be welcomed into Heaven. Then five others, including a 10-year-old-girl, tell him about their dreams and visions which confirm his dream, which happens during 90 minutes of his life he can't at first account for. He loses his fear of death and learns that no one need fear death, and that Heaven is definitely for real. Thorough an amazing series of events, he intimately learns that God indeed is concerned about our lives, and is involved in the tiniest details of his and others' lives. He tells others about his dream and the other dreams and visions, leading to changed lives and overcoming the fear of death.
