After the death of her father, Charlotte Peters makes the difficult decision to come back home and save the families failing Christmas Tree Farm. After a trip to the local hardware store, Charlotte is confronted with a part of her past she'd forgotten about.

Melissa Cury is desperately trying to save her families ski resort. The drought has her thinking outside of the box in terms of bringing business back to the resort. When Melissa hears the city council is planning a detour that will take the tourists away, she jumps into action.
