When Gema was released from prison to participate in a broadcast survival game, she knew she was the underdog and could die. Not a Puregen, a lame leg and no wilderness skills held her back. Still, she had a glimmer of hope for a future free from prison. This planet was beautiful, and so was her Puregen competitor. Kellac was kind, too. But there was definitely no future with him.
