Reward Musara is born in colonial Rhodesia, grows up and learns to get involved in the struggle which promises to offer liberation, according to the promise. The peomise almost comes and gets almost touchable, then peels off its sheep skin, tramples up all hope and goes on a rampage, breaking all records for the wrong reasons.

The biography reflects on both small and big issues, personal, weird cultural issues, social, national, political, beliefs and racial issues from colonial to present day Zimbabwe in a three part series: colonial, better days and the rupture. The struggle that he and others go through to keep body and soul together makes the flesh of the story.
